All our staff members are responsive, gentle, and respectful of young children as individuals, seeing themselves as partners in learning with families and children.
In addition to the owner/director, our staff at each centre consists of four full-time teachers and a part-time assistant to facilitate the delivery of our inclusive program. The director and classroom staff are all qualified early childhood educators with first aid and CPR certification. All have undergone a criminal records check and have been screened through the provincial child abuse registry.
Our staff members actively continue to strengthen their knowledge of child development and each member of the team brings their unique skills and talents to the learning environment. These range from fine arts and music education to an extensive knowledge of animals and the natural world. As every member of our staff has a role in the care and education of the children at our centres, we provide a program of professional development for all members to help us develop our curriculum approach.
